Keydentials: Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Keydentials is a secure, offline-first credential manager by DeeprThoughts. We designed it so your sensitive data stays on your device, protected by strong encryption.

2. Data We Collect

• No account data on our servers: We do not create server accounts or store your personal data on our servers.
• On-device data only: Your vault contents (e.g., passwords, payment details, secure notes) are encrypted and stored locally on your device.
• Optional backup: If you enable backup/restoration via Google Drive, the encrypted backup is stored in your Google account. We cannot read it.

3. Encryption & Security

• Your vault is encrypted at rest using strong, industry-standard cryptography.
• Biometric/PIN protection is supported on compatible devices.
• We never transmit unencrypted vault content to our servers.

4. Permissions

• Storage: To store the encrypted vault locally and (optionally) manage encrypted backups.
• Network: Only if you choose to use cloud backup/restore (e.g., Google Drive APIs).
• Biometric: To unlock your encrypted vault via fingerprint/face where supported.

5. Backups

Backups are encrypted end-to-end before leaving the device. They live in your own Google account (if enabled). DeeprThoughts cannot decrypt or access your backup contents.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data. Since the app is offline-first, we have nothing to sell or share.

7. Your Controls

• Access & Export: Access your data within the app. Export (if available) remains encrypted and under your control.
• Delete: Uninstalling the app or clearing data deletes your local vault. If you created backups, delete them in your own Google account.

8. Children’s Privacy

Keydentials is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with an effective date.
